Iilun Murphy
Iilun Murphy is the Deputy Director for Clinical and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Generic Drugs, CDER since January 2020. Dr. Murphy began her FDA career in 2007, joining CDER’s Office of New Drugs, Division of Gastroenterology and Inborn Errors of Metabolism Products as a medical officer. In 2011, Dr. Murphy transitioned to the Center for Tobacco Products serving in various leadership roles within the Office of Science until she returned to CDER in 2020.
Dr. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University. She completed the Harvard University and Boston University Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics and is board certified in pediatric medicine.
