  The Center for Information and Study of Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP), will be hosting a Medical Heroes Appreciation 5K Run and Walk in Chicago to celebrate the volunteers who give the gift of participation in clinical research. Proceeds from the event will support education and outreach programs to patients and families interested in learning more about the clinical research process. If you have not yet registered for the 5K, you can still do so through the CISCRP website.

  The Chicago White Sox will be in town during DIA 2022, taking on the Toronto Blue Jays, and the home team is holding a dedicated seating area for DIA 2022 attendees!

  Game Day is Monday, June 20, 2022, at 7:10pm CST, following the DIA 2022 Opening Reception. The game is at Guaranteed Rate Field, which is only two miles from McCormick Place Convention Center. Ticket availability is limited, and the deadline for purchasing tickets is June 1.

  CRO Leadership Awards Presentation
  Location: McCormick Place West, Skyline Ballroom

  Now in its tenth year, Clinical Leader and Life Science Leader’s CRO Leadership Awards recognize the CROs exceeding expectations as determined by the customers who utilize their services. 2022 award recipients will be recognized during a celebratory reception being held at this year’s DIA Global Annual Meeting. Winning CROs and the companies who employ outsourcing services are invited to attend.

• Community Networking Area in the Exhibit Hall

  DIA Community members - this is your dedicated space! Meet up and collaborate with fellow members, participate in round table discussions, and/or take a few minutes to reflect on the sessions you've attended.

• Refreshment Breaks

  Meet with your colleagues to plan your day and/or discuss what you learned the previous day, all while networking with other attendees. The early morning breaks will be on the Level 1 Concourse while the mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks will be held in designated areas throughout the Exhibit Hall.
